with an absent minded smile __________________________________________ Long blonde hair hung over the girl's collar bone, as she sat in the crisp green grass. Abigail rather enjoyed the simple life more than one of extravigance and glamour. Which is probably why her father was so bent on making her the 2nd in line for the throne. Abigail really wouldn't do much as a ruler, sadly. She thrived on adventure and the adrenaline that it brought. In fact, her father wasn't really all ashamed of her. He claimed she reminded him of a younger version of himself. The mere thought of her father being anything but prim and proper made her laugh. Standing up slowly, Abigail Merci Genesis stretched her thin arms high above her head. She did that often. Just to keep her muscles from tightening up. Her little sister Anya really needed to learn how to do that on a daily basis. Her poor sister had so much muscle issues it wasn't even funny.
Letting out a yawn from her plump pink lips, Abigail pouted slightly out of boredom. She really wanted someone to show up and entertain her. Yet at the same time she wanted to avoid talking to people of this town. You never knew who was a rebel in this town and who was actually hear to help you and what not. After all, if someone turned out to be a rebel and pretended to be a defender - you could be kidnapped. And things usually didn't end up too good for the people who were being kidnapped. Abigail loved her father and all, but she had to admit he was stubborn when it came to compromises. Especially when it meant giving up some sort of power. His excuse was how long it took their family to gain the power that they now have and how one person would never amount to that power. Once, when she was little enough to be dumb enough to ask - Abigail had questioned her father on if he would sacrifice power for her. He flat out told her not even in her dreams. Yeah, that had given her self confidence at the moment. Oh well, she knew how to defend herself if it came down to that. Which it most likely would.
So Abigail's approach was something a little different. Be the one Genesis family member no one could really hate. Though that's hard to do with the adorable little Anya running around. Who seemed to be able to get away with every little crime she wanted to committ. Yet when Abigail broke the tiniest dish, she got in trouble for it. Oh well, the middle child relatively was the punching bag in certain cases. But her family wasn't all too bad about it. Unless they all ganged up on her at once. That's when even Abigail had to flee the scene. Oddly enough, that seemed to be happening a lot lately. Most likely because of all the stress from the rebel group and such. Her dad wasn't a heartless person. He just wanted the best for people - but in his own way of doing so.
Sighing heavily, Abigail layed back down on the grass. This time on her stomach. She felt the cold chains of her golden necklaces press against her bare chest which felt rather comforting to her. When Abigail was left alone, she got very contemplative. Wow, right about now she really needed someone to ride in on a white horse and save her. Hell, even a jackass riding a barrel would work. She just wanted to speak to someone. [/blockquote]

send for all your absent lovers things Little kids running and playing on the swings and slides, while their parents watch closely by, making sure nothing happens to them. People jogging with their ipods blasting and other walking their dogs, playing fetch and other things to wear them out before they had to live to go back home. Yes, it was just a regular day at the park. People everywhere just enjoying their life. Enjoying the day. Enjoying everything about everything. Vincent wasn't really enjoying life as much as these people were. Well, he wasn't a completely a debbie downer, it was just that he had just gotten off of work and was in need for his afternoon coffee to kick in. Which seemed to not be working as fast as it normally did. Because you see, everyday after work, Vincent would go to the same coffee shop and get a cup of coffee just to pick him up from his long and boring day. And normally after his first sip he was back to normal. But today like stated earlier, not working so fast. That was sort of okay on Vincent's watch. I mean, he didn't have to meet anyone at the moment or really all day, so it would be okay if he was a little bit on the sluggish side for right now.
Letting out a soft sigh, he slowly walked on the sidewalk threw the park. Normally Vincent didn't take this way home, because it was a lot longer, but he figured that maybe if he got some fresh air that the coffee and the air would combined and make him like his normal self faster. Yes, stupid idea. But could you blame him for being a little bit on the weird side after being suck in a stuffy, quiet library for seven hours? Taking a sip of his coffee, Vincent stared blankly ahead. When you were alone you had a lot of time to think about your life and what you have done with it so far. And Vincent was doing that exactly. Wondering what his life would have been like if he would have just stayed at home with his family. Probably by now, he would have been a business man like his father, and possibly have a wife and a child by now also. He shook his head. Good thing he left, huh? That was something that Vincent was most definitely not ready for. It was hard enough having to deal with a little sibling, let alone having a child of his own that he'd have to take care of. Along with having a dead beat job that he'd rather have a kangaroo kick him in the face then having to do that for the rest of his life. Pretty much living his family's life. Not too fun if you asked Vincent.
His eyes began to wonder as he watched all of the little kids running around playing tag and going down the slide. Sure one day he would love to have kids of his own, but not anytime soon. Vincent kept on walking and took another sip of his coffee. Well, what if he would have stayed in New York City? After leaving his home in Australia, Vincent and a few of his high school buddies all moved to the United States to look for better lives and more money. So I moved to one of the most popular cities in the USA, of course it was New York City. They moved into a broken down loft that they all paid rent for. All of them had their own jobs, and every night they'd go out on the town and blow all of their money on drinks for themselves and women that they'd never meet again. And it was fun for a while. Until Vincent got a little carried away with it and quit his job so he could party more and began to beg for money from his friends so he could spend it all on booze. Finally his friends forced him to go to rehab for a couple of months, and when he came out they were gone. Now if he would have stayed there all by himself, with no one that he knew, that would have meant that he'd have to find a good enough job to pay for a place for himself, and all of the food and other things that he needed. Probably would have to make new friends, and start drinking all over again. So no thanks on that one too.
So Vincent figured, even though that this town could be a little bit on the boring side sometimes, it was probably for the best that he moved here. I mean he had a steady job that most of the time he liked, he did get free books for it. He also had a decent amount of friends her also. A nice place to live, and it wasn't like the other places that he'd lived before. Vincent took a gulp of his coffee and continued walking and looking around. He was in a better-ish mood now. So Vincent could find someone or maybe even something to talk to. Because it was kind of boring walking around a park by yourself. And plus people thought that you were some sort of creeper being by yourself, and looking somewhat like a hobo. Oh yes, because Vincent was out to get your little children to come with him for some ice cream and candy in his window-less van and in return they'd let him touch them all over. Vincent stopped and shivered. That was a nasty thought. Then he kept on walking, taking another sip of coffee.
Vincent was coming up to a patch of flat a grassy area, normally where people would probably picnic or play Frisbee or something of that sort, and there he saw a familiar silhouette laying on the ground. He was sure that it was alive of course, by it's movement as it tried to find a comfortable spot. As he walked closer near to the body, Vincent saw that his guesses of who he thought it was were right. It was his really close friend, Abigail. They had met over a light of a cigarette and they had been friends ever since. Even though Vincent thought that her family shouldn't be in power and believe that they should be over-thrown and the town should go back to their old government. And of course, she though that he family should be in power. But besides that, they were the greatest of friends. Vincent smiled as he made his way over to her. Finally now that he had his afternoon coffee kicking in, along with seeing a friend he could talk to, Vincent could be happy and like himself again. He took another gulp of his coffee, before pulping down beside her. "Hello Abigail." His words still amazingly thick with his Australian accent that one would have thought he would have lost from over the year or so of living in the United States and Russia. He set his coffee cup down into the earth, still smiling over at her.

Nope, no one had shown up just yet. It was getting rather frustrating to Abigail. She was so tired of being alone. It was about time for someone to come and save her from her loneliness. Swallowing that well knwon feeling, Abigail decided to net let it eat away at her. She should be use to abandonment by now. After all, being the middle child of her family never got her anywhere in life. Her brother Julius had always been the mature and responsible one. Who seemed to know exactly what to say and what to do to make everything go smoothly in life. When she was born - she wasn't born to be born. Sure she was planned, but planned to save her parent's marriage. But things didn't work out exactly like her parents had hoped at the time. Sure, they were all happy-go-lucky now. But that was after Aliceea got pregnant once more with Anya. Who ended up being the family's baby girl. No kidding at all. The entire family adored and showered Anya with love. Because she never did lose her innocence in this world. Well, atleast she hasn't lost it yet. Abigail wouldn't be so spiteful to make her sister's innocence fade. In fact she thinks the world needs more people like her little sister.
People who have hope and faith in the world. Sadly, Abigail lost that as a little girl. When she still had her little split personality - Merci. She had woken up one morning at the age of five and still, to this day, swore up and down that she had witnessed her parent's deaths. Sure, it had all turned out to be a sick little twisted made up world in her head. Some part of her that truly wanted to watch the world just slowly melt away starting with her parents. But even if it was fake and only a sort of daydream - it scarred her for life. Now she had a horrid fear of cannibals and zombies. You see, when she was in this little trance-like state, she thought the person killing her parent's was some sort of zombie or cannibal. Yeah it was a rather stupid fear she had to admit but it was a fear none the less. To get back to the point - Abigail was never the daughter they had truly hoped for. The whole split personality and schitzophrenia she had suffered from as a little girl made both her parents slowly lose hope in her. So for the longest time Abigail had left home. Traveling the world for fun and excitement.
And now here she was again. Back home with no memory of where she had been and who she had met while there. It was a little odd to her that she couldn't remeber. She would spend nights trying to remeber it. Pacing back and forth in her room with insomnia unable to get the unbearable thoughts off of her mind. And to this day it still bothered her. Who had she met? What had she done? Who had she done? Abigail didn't know if she'd slept with anyone or not. Hopefully not. She didn't want to have slept with someone and not even be able to recall their hair color. Which was the case at the moment. Yes, so when people ask her - Abigail just says she's a virgin. It counts in her mind. If she can't remeber sleeping with someone then she probably hadn't slept with anyone. Shutting her eyes closed tightly, Abigail rolled over onto her stomach again in the grass as if trying to toss her thoughts away. It worked though, so she was happy now. Placing her chin gently in her hands, Abigail smiled brightly out at the playground that the grassy plain she was resting on overlooked. She loved this city and the people who inhabited it. They were all such positive people. Which is the type of people that Abigail liked being around.
Blinking quickly a few times, Abigail swore she just heard someone call her name out. Sitting up slowly, her hands rested on the soft green grass, her bright green eyes narrowing to see past any rays of light in her way of the speaker. A fond smile crossed those plump lips of hers as she realized who it was. Mister Vincent Yates. Oh he was a dreamy little thing, that he was. And Abigail being the little girl at heart she truly was - couldn't help but have a little thing for him. Okay it was more than just a little thing. She had a rather big crush on Vincent. She had thought about for a while telling her cousin Klara - who was practically her best friend. But then she recalled how the two despised eachother with some sort of burning passion. It was rather depressing to Abigail but she figured she could talk to both with no troubles. So far she was correct. And she could just keep this little crush of her's a secret for now. Though the handsome man that now stood before her was probably fully aware of it. Standing up slowly, Abigail brushed her outfit off - showing him a bright, silly smile. Of course she had to jerk the V cut of her shirt up gently. Yeah, she loved low cut shirts so what? There's nothing wrong with them.
Placing her hands cutely behind her back, Abigail decided to play the little innocent game she always played around Vincent. "Well hello Mister Yates. You startled me." Which in a way was true. He had startled her out of her thoughts. A short smile once again crossed her lips as she said, "I thank you for doing so." Oh yes, little miss proper. Just how we knew she was raised. [/blockquote]

Vincent shifted his weight from one side to the other as he watched Abigail as she sat up in order to speak to him better. Picking up his coffee that he placed into the ground, to take another sip of it. He laughed slightly as she said that he startled her. That was a bit odd. Vincent didn't think that he was the startling type. Well, maybe except to those mothers in the park that thought that he was going to molest their children, or a hobo that begged for money. But that wasn't really what he looked like today. Not to toot his own horn, but Vincent didn't think that he looked all too bad today. In fact, he thought that he looked quite attractive with his awesome brown jacket and black corduroy hat. And with his little scruffy beard and other facial hair. He shook his head slightly to himself. Now he was just sounding too conceited for it being him. It would probably be best if he stopped thinking about that before he thought about becoming a male model or something ridiculous of that sort.
Leaving his thoughts for just a moment, Vincent looked back over at Abigail. "Well, I'm sorry for scaring you." The grin still on to his face. This was really odd. Vincent was friends with this girl, and he really cared about her. And he found her really pretty also. I mean, Vincent loved most everything about Abigail. As much as he hid it, Vincent did have a small crush on her though. But he figured that it wouldn't work out, not now or ever. Not because of their difference, but because of the fact that her family was everything that Vincent didn't believed in. You see, Vincent was a rebel. And he wanted the Genesis family to be overthrown and the city go back to the normal government. Plus he doubted Abby even thought about him in that sort of way. And even if she did, because of Vincent's past relationships, he probably would just shut her out anyways.
Poor little Vincent hasn't had the best time with any of his relationships. In fact, all of them have ended up in heartbreak somehow. Like his one girlfriend back in high school. Her name was Mallory, and everyone thought they were probably the cutest couple in the whole school. Literally they did anything and everything together. Where ever she was, Vincent was sure to follow. But soon that all seemed to change. Vincent would go to hang out with her but Mallory would say that she was too busy with homework or hang out with some of her friends. And sadly enough, he was a sucker to believe every word that she said. Until Vincent and some of his friends went to the movies one day and found Mallory making out with another. Oh and it wasn't just anybody, it was Vincent's best friend back in middle school. So that was done and over with very quickly.
Vincent went the rest of his high school years decided not to date anyone else until he done with school and thought that he was mature enough to date again. So shortly after moving away from his hometown, and going to New York City, Vincent pretty much thought that he was ready to start dating again and began to mingle once more. Back then, Vincent spent a lot of his time at the bars and club hopping. So finding a girl that was into the party scene, was a must. One night and some random bar downtown, he met Bree. Every night they would do the same thing. Go out, get drunk, dance with each other, go back to Vincent's place and crash for the night. And I guess you could say that they were dating. Then it got to the point that Vincent was drinking and partying too much, and then his friends sent him to rehab. Once he came back from there, all of his friends were gone, but Bree though. She was there. At first Vincent was happy to see her, but when she tired to get him to go party and drink again, that's when he knew that he needed to ditch her and move on. And that's exactly what he did.
Yet another reason why moving here to Chelyabinsk was good for Vincent. To get away once again from his problems from whatever city he was in before. It was sad that all he knew what to do was run away from his problems. But sometimes that's all that you really can do. Plus it was best that he came here away from that scene that destroyed him before. Vincent blinked his eyes a couple of times, trying to bring himself back to the now and back to the conversation with Abigail or lack there of so far. Taking another sip of his coffee, he placed the cup back into the same spot that he had it before. After thinking for a while, his smile had faded from thinking about his own past. but shortly after he stopped thinking about it and going back to put his attention on Abigail, he forced a fake small smile. "I guess your welcome for that?" He laughed slightly because he found it weird that someone would thank someone for scaring then. But then again, it was Abigail we were talking about. "Anyways, How are you doing love?" Vincent truly grinned at her and yet again took another sip of his coffee.

Abigail was never one for the whole entire dating scene. Sure she had a few people that she enjoyed dating, but it never lasted long. Abigail never seemed to be the commitment type. Which is probably why her mother gave up on trying to set her up with a very nice, rich man. Last time Aliceea attempted that, Abigail took the flowers he had bought for her and ate one of them. Right infront of them both. Just as a way to sort of say 'haha' to them. Sure, it wasn't as affective as you'd think it would be but it was good enough to scare the guy from attempting to date her or anything like that. Besides, who wants to date a guy who's parents apparently hate him? I mean seriously, his name was fucking Franco. Who the hell names their kids that? Abigail always answers that question the same way. 'His mom smoked, drank and dropped acid while pregnant.'. So that boy was thrown straight to the curb before he'd even got to the door to ask her out. That's just how picky Abigail was when it came to men.
But it was so odd how attached she was to Vincent already. It baffled her on exactly how much she ended up trusting him. Abigail would probably let him take into the woods. Which for her family wasn't exactly safe. Seeing as how all the rumors of the rebel hideout being hidden within the depths of the woods. But she knew very well Vincent was a rebel. She overlooked it. She could understand why he didn't want her family in power. Everyone had a right to their own opinion right? And if he was really out to hurt her he would have done it already. He's had so many chances to kill her it's rather ridiculous. Vincent could lead Abigail to her demise and in the end she would still forgive him. Maybe she never really learned from her past relationships. Where she fell this hard and in the end had her heart ripped clear out of her chest. In the end, Vincent would probably just do the same to her. The girl never seemed to learn her lesson. It was a pure shame, it really was. When there was a lesson Abigail really needed to learn in life to survive, she could never get it through her thick skull. It was far too thick.
There was once that boy she dated...for about two weeks. Sylvester was his name. He was rather odd. It took her a while to catch on, that is until she realized he had a white-boy afro. Anywho, that wasn't the point. The kid was a total and complete nerd. But Abigail treated him like a human being none the less. In the end somehow though - he ended up leaving her. His excuse for not wanting to date her anymore was she was 'cramping his coolness'. Those were his exact words to her when they broke up. Of course, back then Abigail was a tad more violent. So she punched the kid in the face for saying such a thing. And even thinking such a incorrect thing about himself. That was when she lived in Germany. She had moved a lot in her middle school years. She had dated this boy when she was what? Twelve? God, it was so long ago she really didn't even remeber what age she was when she dated him. It wasn't that important right? Luckily, she moved about two days after they broke up and she was going to a lovely school all the way in Italy. And that's where she met...him.
The boy that she thought was the one for her. You know your supposed soul mate? Well, that's what she thought about this boy. Who's name just so happened to be Jeremiah. Jerry was what he let her call him. The two started talking almost off the bat and pretty much spent all their time together. Switched their classes so the bulk of them they had together. Outside they would hold hands and do random little activities together. And inside they had to have seats side by side, where they would whisper and tell secrets. The two seemed to be inseperable. They would even do their best to get detention together. That way they never had to be apart. Unfortunately, sometimes that's what you need. Abigail's split personality - Merci - wasn't too fond of Jerry. So the day Merci was in control not Abigaily, she demanded she needed some time apart. Well we don't know about you but when someone askes to stay away from you and you're use to spending every day with them - it gets hard to let go? Well, Jerry paniked. But wouldn't tell Abigail his feelings. Trying to respect her space. Unfortunately, in the time Merci was in control, Jerry found another. Another girl who seemed to get just as happy around him as Abigail had 'use' to be. So when Abigail went to speak to him, she found out from his best friend who he was with.
Some girl she still doesn't know the name of. Sure, it was her own fault. But Abigail couldn't help but feel betrayed in a little while. Oh well, win some lose some right? She had a few other tiny flings but nothing too major that's worth thinking about. So instead, Abigail decided to turn her attention back to Vincent. Him and his irresistable puppy-dog eyes. A smile almost automatically touched her lips as she saw them. Yes, she had to agree with Vincent. He looked rather attractive today. Then again in her mind he couldn't look bad. No hair, hippie long hair. It didn't matter. He could pull it off. Too bad she wasn't that type of person to do that. She was sure she'd look horrible with short hair. She simply shrugged off his little comment as she ran her slender digits through her long flowing steel blonde hair. "Oh....nothing at all. I just was out." Letting her hands fall back infront of her, Abigail stared down at the ground for a minute as if trying to remeber exactly why she had come out here in the first place. Glancing up at Vincent from under her thick black eyelashes, Abigail decided to keep up with her innocent act. "And you darling?" [/blockquote]
